Jen Hacking has been freelancing for the past 7 years and has obtained a Diploma in Art and a Diploma in Graphics and Advertising. She has contrived various types of works including Illustration, Designing POS and Corporate Livery for industries such as Food and Wine, Entertainment, Service, Educational and Tourism.

Over this time her work has evolved, whilst retaining a strong work ethic and emphasis on unique, clean and fresh designs.

In 2006 thickblackoutline.com was established, to showcase her style, passions and current projects. Influenced by Oriental, Eastern and Ethnic Arts, there is rarely a time she would pass up a nice cup of green tea.

Her work has appeared in such publications as Jetstar Magazine and Delicious, and in television commercials.  Her work has also appeared at the 2011 NY Comic Con.

She was a part of the "25 Sacks for ya Back" exhibition, where one of her designs was made into a bag by Crumpler!
