A little concept I've been
working on, as new art for my website. Some may note I no longer
have the backyard featured as the home menu, and has been replaced with
the bevy of Jens. Said backyard is featured in Sometimes in my Backyard
(mentioned below) and may still be seen via Characters > Minya >
Sometimes in my Backyard on my website. I wanted to make my site
a bit more "personal" as it represents not only what I can do,
but myself as well. |
So sit and more importantly relax, its like having a coffee/tea/cocktail, with thickblackoutline. Sending these seasonally might include some recipes as seen on the thickblackoutline blog - its nice to have a cake with coffee! We'll cover what's coming up, current
projects - if you have any recommendations for us or think [a]
thickblackoutline would be perfect for an upcoming job, or know someone,
who knows someone else, etc etc... please reply to this
email. |

Minya is currently submitted to Omnibus
Books and is a character I have come up with for two stories
"Sometimes in my Backyard" and "When it's Raining
Outside."
I usually include a few other items with my submission including some character samples and promotion pieces. Looking to do this as a board-book if not for a little bit older readers, 3-7 years. Minya's adventures are typical of a pet cat, no wearing boots, or playing fiddles! Perhaps the reader will be able to relate to their one pet cat with what she gets into, and sees on a typical day. |

White Chocolate Star Cookies ½ c butter/marg ½ c caster sugar Dash of vanilla extract ¾ c white choc melted 1 egg, beaten 2 cups plain flour ½ teaspoon baking powder cinnamon So you cream the
butter and sugar, add the vanilla and then mix in the melted chocolate
well before adding the egg. Then
sift flour, cinnamon and baking powder. Wrap
dough in plastic and refrigerate for 30 mins. These cookies continue to haunt me when I see the photo, screaming at me to make some more! |
